Reblocking & Restumping
Older homes sit on red gum stumps, with age and environmental factors they begin to deteriorate, the aged red gum stumps need to be replaced with concrete stumps to restore the house’s stability
Process of house restumping
We assess the dwelling and discuss with the home owner what needs to be done to restore the stability and how to level the dwelling.
Next step is we support the dwelling with hydraulic jacks.
Once the dwelling is supported, the holes get dug to minimum depth of 600mm and we make sure that the soil plate gets removed from the ground, we then put in place all concrete stumps and get them levelled and lined up for concrete.
